Since 2016, Chinese investment in our agricultural sector has skyrocketed from $300 million to over $1 billion, and they now hold 2.4% of our farmland—over 9.2 million hectares, more than any other foreign nation. That’s not just land; that’s our food security, our livelihoods, our future being sold off to the highest bidder.

In 2019 alone, China’s Mengniu Dairy Co. bought Tasmania’s Bellamy’s for $1.5 billion, and they’ve been snapping up dairy farms to feed their market, not ours. Our small businesses will collapse, our rural towns will empty out, and our kids will grow up in a country where the Aussie farmer is a distant memory. Is that what you want?
And it’s not just farms—China’s buying our homes and commercial properties too. Between 2007 and 2021, they poured $158 billion into Australia, grabbing everything from residential blocks to energy companies. They lease more land and infrastructure than any other country—think ports, railways, even hospitals. What’s left for us when councils, state, and federal governments keep selling us out? They’re handing over our sovereignty, our privacy, our security to foreign powers who don’t care about the Aussie way. If we don’t stop this, we’ll be tenants in our own land, watching China call the shots while our leaders pocket the cash.
What’s the cost of this betrayal? Our governments—Labor, Liberals, Greens, Teals—they’re all complicit, bending over backwards for foreign investors while ignoring the cries of everyday Aussies. They’ve let China build massive dairy farms—like the 15,000-cow operations that produce four times our milk output—sucking up our water and resources, all to feed their domestic market, not ours. They’ve let foreign owners set up processing plants on our soil, shipping out value-added products while our farmers struggle to survive. If this continues, Australian business and farming as we know it will be gutted—replaced by a foreign-controlled system where we’re just pawns in their game.
We have to fight back, now! But we can’t win this battle unless we change who leads us. The major parties have sold us out for decades, and they’ll keep doing it unless we vote them out.
